Programs
A full educational program is provided for the emotional, intellectual,
social and spiritual growth of the preschool child. The program offers
an opportunity for a child to develop his or her imagination and freedom
of choice.
The child learns Christian attitudes and concept's of God's love from
observation and participation in celebrations. All children regardless
of race, religion or national origin are welcome.
Chestnut Grove's program include:
- Three year-old classes
- Three year-olds attend classes two to three 1/2 days a week. The
time is creatively scheduled and includes such things as guest performers,
crafts, science experiments and even a "make your own pumpkin patch"
every fall.
- Four year-old classes
- Four year-old can attend 1/2 or full day classes three to five days
a week. The four year olds participate in a variety of activities
indoors and out. Activities could include music, storytelling, animal
adventures, guest performers and of course free play.
- Two and You
- Two and you is a learning experience shared by a parent and a child.
Parents are present to share developmentally appropriate practices
with their child. The two and you program
is a positive introduction to school for both the parent and the child.
- Summer Program
- The Summer program operates for three weeks beginning in late May.
Children attending must be 3 years old by July 1st. We encourage children
to be potty trained. The program is implemented by the Chestnut Grove
staff.

provides special art and music activities four times a month. Each
